What is JSON-LD FAQ?

Getting Started

Products › JSON-LD FAQ

Navigate to JSON-LD FAQ

Go to Products › JSON-LD FAQ from the main navigation menu

Create FAQ Set

Click Add New FAQ, choose matching type (Vendor, Collection, or Product Type), enter questions and answers using rich text editor

Enable Auto-Optimize

Toggle on Activate & Auto-Optimize to apply FAQ schema to matching products

Update Products

Click Update All Products to apply FAQ JSON-LD schema, or test with Update A Product first

Add Display Block (Optional)

In theme settings, add SEO King FAQ section app block to product/collection templates to display FAQs to visitors

Important Settings

FAQ Priority

Choose priority when product matches multiple FAQs: Vendor, Collection, or Merge. Merge combines both and removes duplicate questions.

Matching Type

Select how FAQs apply: by Vendor (brand), Collection (category), or Product Type. Determines which products receive the FAQ.

Add to Collection Page

Enable this toggle on collection FAQs to display them on collection pages (not just product pages within the collection)

Activate & Auto-Optimize

Master toggle that enables FAQ schema generation and automatic updates when products change

Verify Your Implementation

Google Rich Results Test

Test your product pages

Enter a product URL to verify FAQPage schema is detected and valid. Look for "FAQ" in the results.

View Page Source

Open a product page, view source (Ctrl+U), and search for FAQPage to see the JSON-LD schema markup in the page code.

Check Theme Display

If you added the FAQ section app block, visit your product/collection pages to verify FAQs display correctly to visitors with proper styling.
